Tai Chi is a wonderful tool to help you get started on the road to a healthier lifestyle. It reduces stress levels, which are at the root of many common ailments; it increases stamina; and it gently increases flexibility, without requiring you to tie yourself in knots! All exercises are done standing, and are very easy to follow. Qigong is very similar to Tai Chi. The only difference is that Tai Chi emulates martial art movements while Qigong follows nature: animals, flowers, etc.
Tuesday evening Tai Chi is in the Council Chambers – the large hall to the rear of the building.
